Groundbreaking Ceremony for Truong Son 2 Wind Power Plant Project in Laos
June 8, 2025 – Bolikhamxay Province, Lao PDR – Viet Technology Company Limited (VTECH) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Truong Son 2 Wind Power Plant Project in Xaychamphone and Khamkeuth districts, Bolikhamxay Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The project is owned by Truong Son 2 Wind Power Investment Joint Stock Company, with VTECH serving as the EPC contractor.
This event marks another significant milestone in VTECH’s ongoing development, underscoring its proven capability and capacity to execute energy infrastructure projects both domestically and internationally.
As per the implementation plan, VTECH is responsible for the following key scopes of work: material procurement and construction for the 220kV substation; and the supply and transportation of steel poles, foundation anchor bolts, and grounding systems for the 220kV transmission line and 220kV substation.
