EVNNPT Leadership Inspects Progress of 220kV Van Ninh Substation and Connection Line Project, Highlighting VTECH’s Role as Contractor

On June 13, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tan, Deputy General Director of the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), conducted a site inspection of the 220kV Van Ninh Substation and Connection Line Project, for which Vietnam Technology Company Limited (VTECH) serves as the construction contractor.

On-site Assessment and Contractor Recognition

During the inspection, EVNNPT leadership received a comprehensive briefing from VTECH on the project’s progress, safety and quality control measures, and any challenges encountered during construction. Following the review, the leadership acknowledged the diligent efforts of all construction units, specifically commending VTECH for its pivotal role as the project’s construction contractor. They further mandated a concentrated effort to finalize the remaining components, ensuring timely power energization.

VTECH’s Progress Report to EVNNPT Officials

The project is currently entering the final stages of equipment installation, system testing and acceptance, and preparing the necessary conditions for energization and operation. This is an important milestone in ensuring stable power supply to the area during peak season.

EVNNPT leaders emphasized that putting the project into operation on schedule not only demonstrates the implementation capacity of participating units but also the strong commitment of the Corporation in accompanying the locality in socio-economic development, attracting investment and serving people’s lives.

The project is expected to be energized and put into operation in July 2025, which is very important to meet the load demand and ensure the operation of 110kV substations in the northern part of Khanh Hoa province and the southern part of Phu Yen province, especially supplying power to the load of Van Phong economic zone. Ensuring stable power supply, meeting the socio-economic development needs of Khanh Hoa province.
