Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Minister of Energy Visits and Inspects the Progress of the Issyk-Kul Solar Power Project
In early December, at the construction site of the key solar power plant project in Issyk-Kul Province, Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Nguyen Le Anh – Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. (VTECH), had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, led by Deputy Minister Rysbekov Altynbek.

As the EPC General Contractor for the project, VTECH provided a detailed report on the implementation roadmap and reaffirmed its commitment to the quality of this first large-scale clean energy project in the region.
During the working session, Deputy Minister Rysbekov Altynbek conducted a direct field inspection of the installation areas for the mounting systems and solar panels. The Deputy Minister paid special attention to the quality of the equipment as well as the technical solutions VTECH is applying to adapt to the unique terrain and climate of the Issyk-Kul lake region.

The Ministry of Energy representatives highly appreciated VTECH’s sense of responsibility in maintaining an urgent construction pace while ensuring international technical standards. This visit demonstrates the Kyrgyzstan Government’s high expectations for the project to solve power shortages and promote local green economic development.
While introducing the project’s scale and the advanced technologies being deployed, Chairman Nguyen Le Anh shared the determination of the VTECH team: “Implementing a project in a country with unique geographical conditions like Kyrgyzstan is a challenge, but also an opportunity for VTECH to affirm the practical capabilities of an EPC General Contractor from Vietnam. We commit to focusing our best resources to bring the project into operation on schedule, making a practical contribution to your country’s energy infrastructure.”

The Issyk-Kul solar project is not merely an energy construction but also a symbol of the cooperation and prestige of Vietnamese enterprises in the international arena. The recognition and support from the leaders of the Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Energy serve as vital motivation for VTECH to continue expanding its influence toward larger renewable energy projects in the Central Asian region.
