VTECH Commences Solar Power Project in Kyrgyzstan, Marking A Renewable Energy Milestone
June 5, 2025 – Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan, Viet Technology Company Limited (VTECH) officially held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Issyk-Kul Solar Power Plant Project. This marks a pivotal renewable energy initiative for the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and signifies a robust advancement for Vietnamese enterprises in the international arena.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of representatives from the Kyrgyzstani government, the project owner, international partners, and VTECH’s Board of Directors and team of engineers. Addressing the attendees, the representative of the project owner, RECCA, underscored the strategic importance of the project in diversifying energy sources, mitigating carbon emissions, and contributing to Kyrgyzstan’s sustainable development.

The Issyk-Kul Solar Power Plant Project encompasses not only the integration of modern solar photovoltaic panels but also the concurrent construction of a 110 kV substation and a synchronized transmission line. The development of such a comprehensive power infrastructure demonstrates VTECH’s meticulous preparation and extensive capabilities in executing large-scale projects.
The selection of the Issyk-Kul region, renowned for its natural beauty and developmental potential, as the project site further exemplifies VTECH’s commitment to balancing economic development with environmental preservation. Today’s groundbreaking event serves as a testament to the aspirations of Vietnamese enterprises in general, and VTECH in particular, to expand their global reach, especially within the clean energy sector.

With over two decades of experience in the power industry, particularly as a prominent EPC contractor for substations and transmission lines, VTECH continues to solidify its position and confidently meet the demands of power projects not only domestically but also in other nations.
VTECH aims to be a pioneer, deeply penetrating the Kyrgyzstani market—a nascent market with an electricity system bearing strong resemblances to Vietnam’s two decades ago. VTECH aspires to contribute significantly to the development of Kyrgyzstan’s power infrastructure.
This project presents an opportunity for VTECH to affirm its stature, expand its regional and global presence, and contribute to the collective endeavors towards global “green energy,” fostering a sustainable planet and advancing towards a “NET ZERO” future.
