Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Safety Engineer to ensure a safe working environment across our projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Guiding Site Management: Instructing the site management team on the implementation of regulations for occupational safety, health, and environmental protection (OSHE).
• Inspections and Compliance: Planning and conducting inspections to verify the enforcement of OSHE rules at construction sites, and promptly requesting corrective actions for any violations found.
• Compliance Assessment: Evaluating compliance with OSHE regulations across all construction sites. You’ll document violations and mandate immediate rectification.
• Subcontractor and Supplier Evaluation: Participating in the task force for evaluating subcontractors and OSHE service providers.
• Documentation Management: Managing all records and documents related to your assigned scope of work.
• Reporting: Preparing and submitting required reports.

Job Requirements

Qualifications for Construction Safety Engineer

To be considered for the Construction Safety Engineer position, candidates should possess the following:

Education/Expertise

• A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Construction, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a safety specialist on construction sites.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete piling and foundation construction.
• Familiarity with construction site machinery and equipment, as well as construction processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Skills

• Proficiency in using monitoring and measurement equipment for safety inspections.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective information dissemination and coordination with other departments.
• Ability to train and instruct personnel on safety procedures.
• Excellent work and time management skills.
• Conversational English.
