Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer to join our team. Key responsibilities include:

• Quantity Take-off and Cost Estimation: Performing accurate quantity take-offs and preparing detailed cost estimates for projects.
• Quality and Quantity Documentation: Preparing comprehensive quality and quantity documentation for various work items.
• Progress Control: Monitoring and controlling project progress in accordance with the quality and quantity documentation of the tender package.
• Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation: Creating and verifying Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for individual project components.
• Payment and Finalization Documentation: Preparing payment and finalization documents for the Client and subcontractors as per contract terms.
• Resolution of Payment Issues: Collaborating with the site management board and other departments to resolve issues related to the completion of progress payment and finalization documents.
• Quality Documentation Implementation: Implementing quality documentation (checklists, acceptance minutes, etc.) in line with the construction schedule.
• Other Assigned Duties: Performing any other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications for Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer

To be considered for the QS Engineer position, candidates should possess the following:

Education/Expertise

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Industrial Construction, Construction Economics, Project Management, or a related field.
• Thorough understanding of state regulations concerning quality management and project payment/finalization documentation.
• Proficiency in planning, plan control, and reporting skills.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in on-site quality control and preparing payment/finalization documents.
• Strong knowledge of construction execution and project payment/finalization processes.

Skills

• Computer proficiency: Advanced skills in software such as AutoCAD, Word, and Excel.
• Language: Conversational and technical English.

Personal Attributes

• Good health, able to handle work pressure, highly responsible, diligent, and eager to learn.
